From the artist: "My work is hugely inspired by the time I spent working as a bike messenger in Boston while attending Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Printmaking in 2011. The highly detailed drawings and maps I have been dreaming up for the past ten+ years reflect my fascination with the nuances that make these places real: littered back alleys, run-down storefronts, rooftops covered with air conditioners and antennas. By concentrating these details in my illustrations, I’m inviting viewers to take a closer look at the things they may otherwise pass by on their walk around the block or commute to work."
